AlphaTheta has officially released Firmware Update v1.30 for the XDJ-AZ flagship DJ system. Packed with major workflow upgrades, this release delivers direct cloud streaming optimizations, expanded visual feedback across all four decks, and over-the-air update support.
What’s New in Version 1.30
1. TIDAL StreamingDirectPlay Support
Play tracks directly from TIDAL without relying on a laptop or external drive. Stream audio straight to the XDJ-AZ with full track selection, cue points, and seamless playback.
2. 4-Deck Display in Enlarged Waveform View
Managing complex four-deck mixes is now much easier. You can track and visually align audio dynamics across all four channels simultaneously in the enlarged waveform display.
3. Over-the-Air (OTA) Firmware Updates
Skip loading update files onto USB drives. The XDJ-AZ now supports direct firmware downloads and updates over the internet via Wi-Fi or LAN.
4. Fast QR Code Account Login
Signing into cloud services and streaming providers on the fly is much smoother. Scan the QR code displayed on the source selection screen using your phone to authenticate instantly.
5. Multi-Account Support
Switch seamlessly between multiple streaming services or mix alongside guest DJs without logging each other out. Version 1.30 enables simultaneous logins for multiple rekordbox CloudDirectPlay and streaming accounts.
